Steel chiminea are far lighter than cast iron and are more durable given the qualities of the metal. Therefore, they are generally far easier to move, store and maintain.
Choosing to add any accessories to you order is completely up to you. However, we do suggest that if you have pets or small children to get a chiminea guard to avoid any chance of them touching the hot surface. A chiminea cover will also help prevent rust.

Chiminea arrived later than expected but the company dealt well with the delay by keeping me informed. Easy to assemble by one person. Looks great and provides a good fire - a great addition to our garden. Not had this very long and only used it a few times but delighted so far. The BBQ option worked really well indeed and the BBQ grill section fits in a dishwasher, so even better. I have already recommended to a few friends.
