Sustainably sourced from the Wyre Forest on the borders of Worceshire and Shropshire, this charcoal is locally produced in an environmentally-friendly fashion. All of the trees that are harvested for this charcoal are replaced. Charcoal has been produced in the Wyre Forest for centuries. It produces a fast, hot flame and is ideal for using in cast iron and steel chimineas and is the best fuel for barbecuing. It burns hotter even than coal and gives off very little smoke.
Charcoal should not be burned in a clay chiminea or clay firebowl because it burns at too high a heat.
